AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sec. 20-2-62 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to restaurant licenses by
amending Subsection (b) relating to the license fee.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake.
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 20-2-62 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to restaurant licenses, be, and
the same hereby is, amended by amending Subsection (b) to read as
follows:
"Sec. 20-2-62. Restaurant licenses . . . .
"(b) The license fee therefor shall be at the rate
of $1.00 for each person per year for the maximum number
of persons that can be accommodated at any one time,
provided that no license shall be issued for less than
$10.00 and no fee shall be charged in excess of $100.00.
Every person applying for a restaurant license who also
holds a valid and current $25.00 soda fountain license
issued under Sec. 20-2-80 for the same premises as the
restaurant license, shall be allowed a credit of not to
exceed $20.00 on the restaurant license fee which would
otherwise be assessed under this section; provided how-
ever, that the minimum restaurant license fee shall in
no event be less than $10.00 net after the allowance of
such credit."
