AN ORDINANCE-AMENDING Title 5, Chapter 1, of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the Uniform
Building Code.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Title 5, Chapter 1, of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the Uniform Building
Code, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new
section to be known as Section 5-1-15, to read as follows:
"Section 304 of the Uniform Building Code, Volume
II, 1967 Edition, adopted by Section 5-1-1, as amended,
is amended by adding a new subsection (22) to read as
follows:
22. For each additional inspection required,
because of condemnation of the work to be performed,
until the standards of this code are met. $ 2.00,"
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it
is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 8th day of May, 1969. > >
