Au' ordinance amending Section 928 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City et 1913, in relation to pawnbrokers.
Be it ordaii#ed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 928 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1913, in relation to pawnbrokers, be, and the same is
hereby amended so as to read as follows:
SECTION 928. It shall be unlawful for any pawnbroker to
receive any goods by way of pawn or pledge, or to keep his
place of business open for trade before the hour of seven o'clock
A. M. or after seven o'clock P. M., or on Sunday; provided, how-
ever, that on Saturday of each week and on days preceding legal
holidays, and the last fifteen days of December of each year,
it shall be lawful for said pawnbroker to keep his place of
business open until eleven o'clock P. M.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after
its passage.
