46 of 1903 - Ordinance 46 of 1903 – Amending Section 47 of Chapter 22 of R.O., 1892 relating to a license for a AN O R J) I N A N C E . An ordinance a mending,a^;ection 47 of Chapter 22 of the Revised Ordinances of 1892. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 47 of Chapter 22 of the Revised Ordi- nances of 1892 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 47. Any person licensed as aforesaid using a wagon, cart or other vehicle:of any description or name whatsoever, in the business of-peddling or hawking, shall have the license therefor framed and covered with glass and securely. attached to the vehicle on thej.ri,ht hand side thereof in such manner as to be exues:ed to F b'iXic viev¢; and any such person so licensed shall have every wagon, cart or vehicle used as afore-. said conspicuously marked on the left hand side thereof with the words "Licensed *vendor", and numbered with plain figures painted on metallic plates. Metallic plates bearing the words "Licensed Vendor" and the numbers above mentioned shall be furnished by the City Recorder with each license. This section shall apply to persons now holding such licenses. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and particularly Section 2 of an ordinance entitled "An ordinance amending Sections 34 and 47 of Chapter 22 of the Revised Ordinances of 1892, entitled 'Licenses' and repealing all ordinances: in conflict herewith", passed May 4th, 1897 and approved May 5th, 1897, are hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
