AN ORDINANCE LEVYING .: TAX and for the assessment of
Property in saving District No. 32 (Paving Extension No. 188)
for the purpose of grading, constructing drainage system to carry
water across and along streets and intersections, roll gutter,
private driveways, installing water services and sewer connections
to back of curbs,and paving with concrete thereof.
Be it ordainad by the Board of Commissioners of Galt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of
the same upon the property hereinafter described in Paving District
No. 32 (Paving Eiateausion 1J0. 188) for the purpose of grading, con-
structing drainage system to carry water across and along streets
and intersections, roll gutter, private driveways, installing water
services and sewer connections to back of curbs and paving with
concrete thereof, to-wit:
In Lots 2, 3, 6 and 7 of B1k. 19, Plat "B",
Balt Lake City uurvey, abutting on both sides of Park
Btreet from 6th to 7th .outh Streets in Balt Lake City,
Utah.
This tax is levied to defray`the expense of grading,
constructing drainage system to carry water across and along streets
and intersections, roll gutter, private driveways, installing water
services and sewer connee-tionsuto back of curbs and paving Park

kreet from 6th to 7th South streets, said pavement to be twenty-
four (24) feet with roll gutter on Fark Street from 6th South to
; one-half block south, and thirteen (13) feet with roll gutter on
i,rark Street from one-half block south of 6th south Street to 7th
' south atreet, said pavement to be seven (7) inches think, the por-1
ltions of said street opposite the property hereinbefore and here-
inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said
improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established
that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the
! £all amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land ar
(hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with
the linear foot frontage upon and to the entire depth back there-
from, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said par-
cels of land is Five Thousand Nine Hundred Ten and 70/100
(05,910.70) Dollars; Two Thousand Two Hundred seventeen and 60/100
(02,217.60) Dollars or Three and 36/100 (43.36) Dollars per front
Or linear foot of abutting property for said thirteen (13) foot
roadway, there being 660 feet abutting said portion of said im-
llprovement; Three Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-four and 30/100
(03,534.30) Dollars or Five and 61/100 (05.61) Dollars per front
!or linear foot of abutting property for said twenty-four (24)
foot roadway, there being 630 feet abutting said portion of said
improvement; Forty-five and 00/100 (:45.00) Dollars for sewer
laterals, there being three (3) sewer laterals at Fifteen (015.00)
iDollars for each sewer lateral; Thirty-five and 00/100 (535.00)
Dollars for private driveways, there being one (1) private drive-
jway at Thirty-five (}j35.00) Dollars per driveway; Forty-eight and
100/100 (448.00) Dollars for private driveways, there being six
(6) private driveways at Eight (48.00) per driveway; Thirty and
80/l00 ( 30.80) Dollars for water services, there being two (2)
liwater services at Fifteen and 40/100 (415.40) Dollars for each
water service, the cost of installing which water services and
!sewer laterals anal the cost of construction of which driveways
land the property benefited thereby is hereinafter set out, and all

tioned in said district, which is the total abutters' cost and cost
per front foot of said improvement, according to the .Contract

fprovement with Enoch Smith, Contractor, dated the 16th day of

the assessments made and returned in said completed lists, and the
1eport of the Board of Equalization and Review to the Board of Como
6issioners of Salt Lake City, are hereby ratified, approved and
'confirmed.
SECTION III. Said tax shall be payable in ten equal
yearly installments as provided by law and ordinance with interest
on the whole sum unpaid at the rate of six per cent per annum,
,;payable at the time each installment is due. In the event any
1ftIinstallment or the interest aforesaid is not paid on the day the
same becomes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at

(the time said installment and interest are due, shall become due

and payable, and shall draw interest at the rata of 12 per cent
per annum until the sale of the .property assessed.

SECTION IV. This ordinance shall take effect one day
