AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE VACATING a portion of Second North Street west of
Redwood Road.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Second North Street west of Redwood
Road, more particularly described as follows, be, and the same hereby is,
vacated and declared no longer to be public property to be used as a
street, alley, avenue or pedestrian way:
BEGINNING at a point which is West 6.5 rods and South 14
rods from the Northeast corner of the Southwest quarter
of Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 1 West, Salt Lake
Base and Meridian, said point also being the Southeast
corner of Lot 1, Block 3, JORDAN PLAT "A", according to
the map of the survey of said plat on file in the office
of the County Recorder of Salt Lake County, and running
thence West 68.5 rods; thence South 2/7 rods, more or less,
to the North line of the property deeded to John H. Rumel
by Deed recorded January 25, 1879 in Book "N" of Deeds at
page 570-1, and subsequently deeded of record to Omni
Enterprises, Incorporated; thence East, along the North
line of said deeded property, 35 rods; thence South 3-5/7
rods; thence East 33.5 rods; thence North 4.0 rods to the
point of BEGINNING.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of
way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description
now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described
property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon, for the
purpose of inspecting, maintaining, replacing, removing, altering, or
rerouting said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective only after the
approval and acceptance of Morton Meadows Subdivision by Salt Lake City
Corporation.
