An ordinance amending an ordinance entitled "An ordinance com-
bining the offices of sealer of weights and measures and oil in-
spector, and defining the duties of lush office," passed July 21st,
1902 and approved July 23rd, 1902.
Bo it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SMCTIOM 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinanoe oombining
the offices of sealer of weights and measures and oil inspeotor,and
defining the duties of such office," passed by the City Council
July 21st, 1902, and approved by the Mayor July 23rd, 1902, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding a new section to be Disown as
Section 15a, as follows:
EMOTION 16a. It shall be unlawful for any person to per-
mit or keep at his plass of business where articles to be
bought or sold, or offered or exposed for sale are weighed or
measured, or upon his wagon or other vehicle used in his
business, or weighing or measuring articles to be bought or
sold, any weight, measure, seals, beam, patent balance, steel-
yard or other instrument which has not been sealed as provided
in this ordinance, or which does not conform to the standards
of Salt Lake City, or the State of Utah, or which shall be out
of order or ineorreot.
EMOTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
