Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 670, as amended and Section
682, as amended, of Chapter 17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1913, relating to the salaries of the City Treasurer
and Deputy City Treasurer.
Be it ordained, by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah: .
VACTIONL.- That Seotion 670, as amended, and Section 682,
as amended, of Chapter 17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City of 1913, relating to the salaries of the City Treasurer and
Deputy City Treasurer, be, and the same are hereby amended so as
to read as •
SECTION 670. SivraRY. The salary of the City Treasurer
shall be not to exceed three thousand dollars per annum,
payable monthly.
SECTION 682. The Board of Commissioners may appoint
and employ one deputy treasurer at a salary not to exceed
twenty-four hundred dollars per annum, and such other
assistants, clerks and employees as may be necessary for the
proper conduct of said office, at such salaries as the Board
may designate.
The deputy treasurer shall give a bond to the City in
the sum of 010,000.00, conditioned upon the faithful per-
formance of his duties and the proper accounting of all funds

and moneys coming into his hands or under his control.
The Board of Commissioners may require any employee
of the treasurer'Soffice to give bond in such amount as
it may.designate.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty-one
daye. efter its passage.
