Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, i.: Utah: SECTION 1. The following portions and parts of streets within the City of Salt Lake City are hereby vacated and closed to public II7r- use, and the use thereof for railroad tracks, and for the erection i Pg -' and maintenance thereon of shops, buildings and other structures lr- . i and improvements suitable for railroad and station purposes is hereby granted THE DENVER AND RIO GRANDE WESTERN RAILROAD COMPANY, its successors and assigns, so long as said company, its successors Ls- and assigns shall use the same as parts of or appurtenant to the maintenance and operation of a railroad and railroad station and depotgrounds on, adjacent to, or connected with said parts of said c}+ P J streets, to wit: The East Half of Sixth West Street between Fourth South and Sixth South Streets, and Fifth South Street between Fifth West Street and the center line of Sixth West Street. SECTION 2. The grant of the use of the vacated parts of said streets to THE DENVER AND RIO GRANDE WESTERN RAILROAD COMPANY, its successors and assigns, is limited to industrial use, shops, rail- road station and depot uses, and for tracks, structures and fixtures 4'7 appurtenant to or connected with such uses, and upon the abandon- ment for such uses the grant ceases, and the grantee, its succes- sors or assigns, is not authorized to lease, grant or convey the premises or any part thereof for any other use, business or pur- pose. SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
