Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. The salaries of appointive officers in the Department of Parks and Public Property on and after June 1, 1955, shall be not to exceed the amounts as follows: Per Annum (A) Manager of Parks and Public Property $5,520.00 (B) Office Manager 4,620.00 SECTION 2. The salaries of appointive officers in the Department of Public Safety on and after June 1, 1955, shall be not to exceed the amounts as follows: Per Annum (A) Sealer of Weights and Measures and Oil Inspection 4,560.00 (B) Assistant Sealer of Weights and Measures and Oil Inspection 3,654.00 SECTION 5. The salaries of appointive officers in the Department of Water Supply and Waterworks on`and after June 1, 1955, shall be not to exceed the amounts as follows: Per Annum (A) Superintendent of Waterworks 7,200.00 (B) Office Supervisor 4,920.00 SECTION 6. All ordinances of Salt Lake City insofar as they conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby amended to that extent but otherwise are to remain in full force and effect. SECTION 7. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective immediately. SECTION 5.
