AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3120 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, by adding in and
to said section a new paragraph to be known as paragraph (i),
relating to fire prevention.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 3120 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to fire prevention, be
and the same is hereby amended by adding in and to said section
a new paragraph to be known as paragraph (I), which shall read
as follows:
"(i) No gasoline or other motor fuel shall be dis-
pensed at or in any automobile filling station, aircraft
fueling post, or any public filling station or other
place of business by any self-help or any coin operated
pump, or other dispensing device, or by any other person
other than the owner, lessee or a duly authorized atten-
dant employed by such owner or lessee for such purpose."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commission-
ers, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the in-
habitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance s ake effect upon its
first publication.
