Green Neslen Scheid Mr. Chairman _ Result AN ORDINANCE An ordinance amending Section 11 of an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners June 24th, 1914, relating to employes in the Bureau of Mechanical Inspection, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners July 31st, 1918. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 11 of an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners June 24th, 1914, relating to employes in the Bureau of Mechanical Inspection, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners July 31st, 1918, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: SECTION 11. The Board of Commissioners may appoint and employ the following officers in the Bureau of Mechanical In- spection, at salaries not to exceed the amounts stated: One practical, competent builder or architect, who shall be Chief of the Division of Building Inspection, to assist in the work of inspecting buildings and enforcing all ordinances relat- ing to building permits and buildings, not to exceed 2220.00 per annum; One practical, competent plumber or sanitary engineer, who shall be Chief of the Division of Plumbing Inspection , to assist in the work of plumbing inspection and enforcing all ordinances relating to plumbing inspection and plumbing permits, not to ex- ceed 42,220.00 per annum. 4 1 � The Chief of the Division of Plumbing Inspection shall, whe so directed by the Board of Commissioners, perform the work of the Chief of the Division of Smoke Inspection. One practical, competent electrician or electrical. engineer, who shall be Chief of the Division of Electrical Inspection, to assist in the work of electrical inspection, and carry out the ordinances relating thereto; not to exceed $2,220.00 per annum. One competent: mechanical engineer, who shall be chief of the Division of Smoke Inspection, to assist in the work of smok and boiler inspection, and carrying out the ordinance relating • to smoke, smoke inspection, boilers and boiler inspection, not to exceed t1,800.00 per annum.
