AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY in Block 5, Laurelhurst
Amended and Extended Plat, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That an alley in Block 5, Laurelhurst Amended
and extended Plat, in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 5,
Amended and Extended Plat of Laurelhurst of Section 15, T.
1 S., R. 1 E., S.L.B. & M.; thence S. 0° 01' 26" W. lb feet
to the northeast corner of Lot'5, said Block 5;.thence N.
89° 45' W. 159 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 5;
thence S. 0° of 26" W. 146.3 feet to the southwest corner
of Lot 1, said Block 5; thence N. 89° 45' W. 8 feet to the
southeast corner of Lot 55, Laurelhurst; thence N. 0° 01'
26" E. 162.3 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 11,_said
Block 5; thence S. 89° 45' E. 167 feet to point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be pub-
lic property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every
description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the
above described property and also subject to the right of entry there-
on for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repairing, replacing,
removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it
is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become of ective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall to " jeffect-,pon its first
