and �lso to construct, maintain and operate in said city railroad tracks
in said part of-Third south Street and on the west half of J-aooks 47 and
62, Plat "A," Salt Lake City Survey, and on the east s�de of Fourth ·\:.'est
Street between points feet nort h of the north line of Second South
street and 410 feet south of the south side -of _, ou;-th South Str�et, with
· as many mai_{l, side �switph and connecting tracks as may be required fol'•
ingress and egr��-«-pf trains to and. from said passenger depot and for
use and accomodation thereof, including the right to lay,
malrft ain and use such side, switch and co nnecting tracks as may be
�ecessary, across Second South and Fourth South streets, ne2.r their
connection with Fourth West street; provided, that at no time shall the
grantee herein allow any railway coaches or other rollin� stock to remain
standing on-said second South Street or Fourth Sout:� Street.
A franchise and right of uay is also hereby granted to such grantee
its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain and operate an
a4ditional standard gauge main track, with side and switch tracks,
eross-overs and connections, from second south Str�ct to the north limits
Salt Lake City, such track to lie on the west sJde of and to be parallel
with the main track of such grantee through Salt Lake City; provided, that
such grantee sr..all move its present track so as to make the cent-er
West lstre<?t, so far as practicable, an equal distance from the
centers of such two main tracks.
Such raib'.-ay company shall build and maintain a subway or a n
elevated foot;da::,-or bridge to accomodate foot passengers passing
east and west along Third South Street between some convenient
point i:n :P.ourth v,-est ;::.:treet and another convenient point between
Third and Pourth \':est Streets, the same to be over, throuch or around
eonnection
