Green --- Neslen v i DMr. Chairman � � Result AN ORDINANCE An ordinance amending Section 918x4, Revised Or- dinances of Salt Lake City, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, July 31, 1918, relating to employes in the Department of Parks and Public Property. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: ShC'TION I. That Section 918x4, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners, July 31, 1918, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 918x4. The Board of Commissioners may employ the following officers, ,clerks and employees in the Department of Parks and Public Property, at salaries not to exceed the following, to wit: One Assistant Superintendent of Parks and Public Property, at a salary of not to exceed .4800.00 per annum. It shall be the duty of the Assistant Super- intendent of Parks and Public Property to assist the Superintendent of Parks and Public Property in the supervision of the work, care, maintenance, improvement and beautifying of the parks in Salt Lake City not un- 5 i I f I der the control, care and supervision of same other officer; To act as florist at Liberty Park; And to do and perform such other services as shall be required of him by the Commissioner of Parks and. Public Property. One chief clerk at not to exceed 1,620 per annum. Such supervisors of play grounds and at such,; salaries and for such terms as the Board of Commissioners may determine. Such other employees and laborers as may be news- sexy; and may furnish and provide such equipment as may be necessary for the:.proper care, maintenance, improvement and beautification of the parks and public property of the City. SBOTION II. This ordinance shall take effect thirty- one days after its passage.
