perty in aewer District Do. 2 (aewer intension No. 410), for the
purpose of constructing a sewer.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of alt
Lake Jity, Utah:
SECTION I. That the Board of uommissioners of Ualt Luke
amity does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of
the same upon the property hereinafter described in aewer District
14o. 2 (aewer Extension io. 410) for the purpose of constructing a
sewer, to-wit:
In Lot 29 of Blk. 3, Lots 19 to 36 incl. of 31k. 9,
Lots 36 and 1 to 18 incl. of 31k. 10 and Lots 1 and 36 of
Zak. 11, of Oakley ;pub. of the NE4 of Sec. 34 and the NVI4
of aec. 35, T. 1 N., R. 1 .J., a. L. B. 4 LI.; Lots 1 to 11
incl. of Blk. 9 and Lots 12 to 22 incl. of 131k. 10 of
Caverly cub. of the TI,.•;.r of .,ec. 34 and the I d4 of uec. 35,
T. 1 h., R. 1 4., a. L. B. & L.; also a part of the NE4. of
uec. 34, T. 1 P., ti. 1 t1., a. L. B. `: i.I., abutting on both
sides of Colorado .street from 4th to 5th north and both sides
of 4th North from Colorado Street to a point 785.4 feet west
of Catherine street.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing
a vitrified pipe sewer eight (8) inches to eighteen (18) inches in
diameter, including man-holes, flush tanks and "Y" junctions, all
complete, upon the portions of said streets opposite the property
hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected
land benefited by said improvement and it is hereby adjudged, deter-
,mined and established. that said property will be especially be.ne-
fited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied and said
'parcels of land are hereby assessed at a uniform rate in accord-
ance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said
streets fronting upon and to 'uhe entire depth of said parcels of
,hand back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed
'upon said parcels of land is right Thousand, Eight hundred. "ifty-
two and 61/100 (t; 8,852.61) Dollars, or `i'w=io and 11/100 (sS1.11)
nollars per front or linear foot of abutting property for half
rate, there being 4,195.55 feet abutting said improvement, which
is the total abutters' cost and cost per front foot of said sewer
'I,according to the contract entered into for the performance of said
work and making said improvement with John O'Oonno^, Contractor,
dated the 18th day of October, 1922, and the 'Treasurer is hereby
authorized and directed to assess in accordance with the provisions
of this ordinance for the purposes herein mentioned:

side of the '3. 80 feet of Lot 1, the south side of bt 36, Plk.
10, the south side of Lots 1 and 36, P1k. 11, Oakley Sub., part
of the Nti of .,ec. 34, T. 1 N., 3. 1 .. , L. 3. 1 Li.; the west

sub., thence west 785.40 feet, being a part of the N L of sec. 34,
T. h N., R. 1 ',1., S. L. L. 5 I:_"., as the same are shown upon the
official plats of said city to the entire depth of said parcels
of land and to collect said tax.
s CTION II. `What the assessment list made by the City
Treasurer, as corrected, approved and completed by the Board of
.. qualization and 'Review of the property described in Section I of
this ordinance in newer Jistrict No. 2 (Sewer Txtension No. 410)
of salt Lake City, for the purpose of constructing a sewer upon
said portions of said streets, is hereby confirmed, L.nd the assess-
ments made and returned in said completed. lists, and the report
of the Board of . qualization and Review to the Board of Commis-
sioners of salt Lake City, are hereby ratified, approved and con-
!! firmed.
SECTION III. Said tax shall be payable in ten equal
yearly installments with interest on the whole sum unpaid at the
irate of 6 per cent per annum payable at the time each installment
is due, to-wit: one-tenth thereof one year after the effective
date of this ordinance of levy, one-tenth thereof two years after
the effective date of this ordinance of levy, one-tenth thereof
three years after this ordinance becomes effective, one-tenth
thereof four years after this ordinance becomes effective, one-
tenth thereof five years after this ordinance becomes effective,
one-tenth thereof six years after this ordinance becomes effect-
ive, one-tenth thereof seven years after this ordinance becomes
effective, one-tenth thereof eight years after this ordinance be-
comes effective, one-tenth thereof nine years after this ordi-
nence becomes effective, and one-tenth thereof ten years after
this ordinance becomes effective. in ,he event any installment
or the interest aforesaid is not paid on the day the same becomes
due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at the time said
installment and interest are due, shall become due and payable,
