AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32-2-3 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1964, relating to prostitutes upon public
streets and public places.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 32-2-3 of the Revised Ordinances of
, Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to prostitutes upon public
streets and public places, be, and the same hereby is, amended to
read as follows:
"Sec. 32-2-3. Prostitutes prohibited conduct. It shall
be unlawful for any person convicted of prostitution or
sexual intercourse for hire to be on or about the streets,
alleys, parks or public places of Salt Lake City without
any reasonable necessity therefor between the hours of
seven p.m. of any day and one a.m. of the next day within
the two year period subsequent to any such conviction,
or to be on or about the streets, alleys, parks or public
places of Salt Lake City for unlawful purposes at any time."
SECTION 2. In the Opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immedi-
ately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this First day of February , 1967. /
