Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 883 of the Revised Ordin-
ances of Salt Lake City of 1913, as contained in Chapter 33 of said
s&I ordinances, relating to licenses.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 883 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City of 1913, as contained in Chapter 33 of said
ordinances, relating to licenses, be and the same is hereby amended
so as to read as follows:
Sec. 883. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage
in the business of street oar advertising without first
procuring a license so to do.
Persons required to pay a license under this section,
shall each pay three hundred (4'300.) dollars per annum in
advance.
For the purpose of this section the business of street
car advertising is defined to be: Renting or hiring by any
person of space on or in street cars operated within Salt Lake
City,for advertising purposes for compensation.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication. �'
