AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6714 of the Revised
1944,
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah,/as amended by ordinances passed
by the Board of Commissioners, relating to zoning.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 6714 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by
the Board of Commissioners-on February 21, 1945; August 17, 1945;
December 19, 1945; March 28, 1946; April 5, 1946; June 4, 1940;
August 6, 1946; September 18, 1946; October 6, 1946; November 5,
r , 1946; January 7, 1947; February 11, 1947; March 5, 1947; March 25,

1947; April 16, 1947; May 27, 1947; June 5, 1947; July 22, 1947;
October 14, 1947; December 2, 1947; December 18, r1947; April 26,

23, 1948, known as bills Nos. 00 and 61; March 9, 1949; August 3,
1949; November 15, 1949; February 2j, 1950; March 30, 1950; May 4,

15, 1951, February 15, 1951; April 12, 1951; June 19, 1951; October
2, 1951; November 6, 1951; December 20, 1951; February 7, 1952; and
June 12, 1952; relating to zoning, be and the same is hereby further
amended by adding in and to said Sectidin three new paragraphs to be
known as Items Nos. 107, 108 and 109, which shall read as follows:
"ITEM NO. 107. The following described real property in
Residential 'B-2" District, as shown on the Use District Map
is hereby amended and changed to Business 'A' classification
and the Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accord-
ingly:
All of Lot 6, a part of Block 100, Plat 'At, Salt

Lake City Survey, in Section 36, T. 1 N., R. 1 W.
That said Use District Map is hereby amended and changed

to show the above described tract of land and the whole there
of as Business 'A' District."
"ITEM NO. 108. The following described real property in
Residential 'B-3' District, as shown on the Use District Map,
is hereby amended and changed to Business 'A' classification
and the Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accord4-
ingly:

The west 100 feet of Lots 2 to 11 inclusive, and
that portion of the west 100 feet of Lot 12 lying west of
the Surplus Canal, Blk. 2, Utah Southern Addition, a subdi-
vision of the N.E.4 of Section 15, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S.L.B. I
& M.
That said Use District Map is hereby amended and changed,
to show the above described tract of land and the whole there`-

Residential '13-2' and Residential 'B-3' Districts, as shown
on the Use District Map, is hereby amended and changed to
'Industrial' classification and the Use District Map is here l-

That portion of Lots 1 to 11 inclusive and 19 to 1
24 inclusive, Blkv 2,:_Utah Southern Addition, a subdivision ;
in the N.E.1 of Section 15, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., 1
lying between the west boundaries of the Surplus Canal and
the Brighton Irrigation Canal and a line 100 feet east of the
Redwood right-of-way, being more particularly described as i
follows:
Commencing at a point 100 feet east of the north-
west corner of Lot 10, Blk. 2, Utah Southern Addition; thenc
north 102 feet, more or less to a point on the west bank of
the Surplus Canal; thence in a southeasterly direction
meandering along the west bank of the Surplus Canal 1020 feet,
more or less, to a point where the Brighton Irrigation Canal
intersects; thence in q southwesterly direction along the
west bank of the Brighton Irrigation Canal 422 feet, more or
less, to a point 66 feet, more or less, west of the south-
west corner of Lot 1, Blk. 2, Utah Southern Addition; thence
west 404 feet more or less, to a point 100 feet east of the '
southwest corner of Lot 2, Blk. 2, Utah Southern Addition;
thence north 1237.5 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health- and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
