AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary Admini-
stration Program for Salt Lake City Employees," prepared by the Citizens'
Review Board, adopted by an ordinance amending Section 24-4-5 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, being Bill No. 40 of
1967, passed July 13, 1967, a copy of which Wage and Salary Administration
Program is on file in the office of the City Recorder, by changing the
salary range number and Salary Range of Sealer of Weights and Measures
and fixing the salary to be paid effective June 1, 1968, and July 1, 1968.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Employees, prepared by the Citizens' Review
Board, adopted by an ordinance amending Section 24-4-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, being Bill No. 40 of 1967,
passed July 13, 1967, a copy of which Wage and Salary Administration
Program is on file in the office of the City Recorder, be, and the same
hereby is amended as follows:
"Under the title covering 'Managerial and Professional'
employees and under Salary Range No. 15, the job title
'Sealer of Weights and Measures' is hereby deleted and said
job title of Sealer of Weights and Measures is hereby changed
to Salary Range No. 17."
SECTION 2. The Sealer of Weights and Measures shall receive,
effective June 1, 1968, the salary designated in E - 4th Step, $676.00
per month, and, effective July 1, 1968, the salary designated in F - 5th
Step, $708.00 per month.
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt

Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 12th day of June, 1968.
