AN ORDINANCE .
An ordinance amending and re-enacting Subdivision Fourth of
Section 658 of the Revised Ordinances of 1903.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. Th,t Subdivision Fourth of Section 658 of the Re-
vised Ordinances of 190.3 be, and the same hereby is amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows, to-wit:
Fourth. Whether the whole, or what part of the whole of
such improvement shall be defrayed by special tax; provided,
that in all cases one-half the expense of bringing streets,
alleys and sidewalks to grade, .and all the east-of-_engine g,

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
