Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
1 City, Utah:
II SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City
i does hereby levy the tax and provide for the sssessment of the
same upon the property hereinafter described in Sidewalk Districts
•Nos. 29 end 44., for the construction of cement sidewalks, to-wit:
In Lots 1 to 58, inclusive, Block 1, A/cedis Subdivision; 301
to 58, inclusive, Block 1; 1 to 29, inclusive, Block 2, Somervill
Subdivision; 1 to 27, inclusive, Block 2; 1 to 27, inclusive,
Block 1, Edgeraoocl Subdivision; 6 to 3n, inclusive, Block 2; 1 to
54, inclusive, Block 3; 1 to 54, inclusive, Block 4; 1 to 54, in-
elusive, �slocl: 5, Thorndyke Subdivision; 1 to 29, inclusive, end

This tax is levied to defray the err ease of constructing
cement sidewalks ( :aid cement sidewalks to be five (5) feet wide
and. four (4) inches thick on all four (4) rod streets, and four
(4) feet wide and four (4) inches thick on all narrower streets ix
where sidewalks are unpaved or pavement Morn out, in said distriet ,

four years after said ordinance becomes effective; and one-fifth
thereof in five years after said ordinance becomes effective. One
or more of said installments, in the order in which they ore pay-
able, or the whole special tax, may be paid et any time within
thirty days after the ordin ance confirming the levy of the tax
becomes effective, without ;interest.,-e n the event of any install
ment or the interest afore - is not bung paid on the date the sam
