AN ORDINANCE AMENDING paragraph (d) of Section 1603
of the Uniform Building Code, 1946 Edition, relating to restric-
tions in fire zones.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That paragraph (d) of Section 1603 of the
Uniform Building Code, 1946 Edition, relating to restrictions
in fire zones, be and the same is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:
n(d) OCCUPANCIES PROHIBITED. No Group E Occupancies
except paint spray rooms having a floor area not exceeding
one thousand square feet (1000 sq. ft.) and garages and
film storage vaults for the storage of nitro-cellulose
film shall be permitted in Fire Zone No. 2.n
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
