AN ORDINOCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXXV of the Revised
Ordinances of Sa7,t'Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to licenses,
by adding in and to said Chapter a new section to be known as
Section 3726, relating to a license for motor vehicle races.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter XXXV of the Revised Or-
dinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, be and the same is here-
by amended by adding in and to said Chapter a new section to be
known as Section 3726, relating to a license for motor vehicle
races.,, which shall read as follows:
"SEC. 3726. MOTOR VEHICLE RACES. It shall be unlaw-
ful for any person to engage in, carry on, conduct, operate, or
promote the business/of motor vehicle races in Salt Lake City
without first having procured a license therefor.
The license fee,which shall be payable to Salt Lake L
I:v City, shall be $200.00,, payable -"in advance."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Com-
missioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall t e of t at once
upon its first publication.
