AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE 25 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION
4B RELATING TO PLANNER PAY DIFFERENTIALS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 5 of Title 25 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, is hereby amended by
ADDING thereto a new Section 4B to read as follows:
Sec. 25-5-4B. Planner Differentials. Full-time, permanent
employees who are classified as City planners by the City shall
receive the following pay differentials, separate and apart from
their base salaries:
(1 ) When certified as a planner by the American Institute
of Certified Planners - $40.00 per month;
(2) When qualified and registered by the State of Utah as a
licensed architect - $40.00 per month.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this P8thday of July , 1981.
