An ordinance levying a. ter and for the assessment of property on°C11Street between South Temple and Second Streets in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a sewer. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on C. Street between South Temple and Second Streets, in Sewer District No.l. This talc is levied to defray f 'e expense of constructing a sewer upon said portion of raid r+rest opposite the property herein- after described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full eernert nr The Tax nereby-levied., ana--said parer 6f land are hereby ' assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the U.near font frontage upon said portion of said street, fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied end to be assessed upon said parcels of land is five hundred and seventy-seven and 50/100 (3577.50) dollars, or seventy- hundredths ($0.70) dollars per front or linear foot, and t`-,e Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein men- tioned, all of lot 4, bleak 12; all of lots 1 and 4, block 17; all of lots 2 and 3, block 1S, plat "D", Salt Lake City Survey, as the weer are shown upon the official plat, af,, said City, to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet bask from said street Section 2.
