AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries
of Use Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt LakeCity, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Sectiony,51-II-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries of
Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and to
said section a new paragraph.to .be known as Item 34, as follows:
"ITEM 34. The following described real properties in Residential
"R-2°" as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby changed to Residential
"R-4" classification and the.Use District Map is hereby amended and
changed accordingly.
Commencing at a point in the east line of Chicago Street, said
point being 224 feet North of 9th North Street, thence East 150
feet; thence North 200 feet; thence East 135 feet more or less to
the west No Access line of the Utah State Road right-of-way; thence
northwesterly along the No Access line 160 feet more or less to
the south line of 10th North Street; thence West along the south
line of 10th North Street 230 feet more or less to the east line of
Chicago Street; thence South 350 feet, to the point of beginning;
more particularly described as all of Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 , 12, 13, 14
and 15 and part of Lots 6 and 7, Block 68 Kinney and Gourlay's
Improved City Plat.
"That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show
the above described tract of land as part of Residential "R-4" District
Classification."
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
14th day of August, 1962.
