AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 44-6-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Ambulances, exemption to the provisions of Title 44. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 44-6-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Ambulances, exemption to the provisions of Title 44, be,and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: "Sec. 44-6-1. Exemptions to title. The provisions of this title shall not be deemed to have any applica- tion: "(a) To any ambulance service performed by Salt Lake City in any of its departments or to any driver performing such ambulance service; "(b) To any ambulance service duly licensed by proper authority anywhere in the State of Utah in bringing in to Salt Lake City and discharging anywhere within Salt Lake City persons taken on as passengers outside the limits of Salt Lake City." SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect on its first publication. Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 18th day of June, 1968.
