AN ORDINANCE .
An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 306 of the Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah.:
SECT.ION: 1. That Section 306 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1903, be, and the same hereby is amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
SECTION 306. DEPUTY. The huone officer shall have power
to appoint, during the term for which he is appointed, a deputy
humane officer to be known as Dog Catcher, who shall receive in
full compensation for all services rendered by him, the sum of
fifty (50) cents fOr each dog destroyed as provided in Section
144 of these ordinances, payable monthly, and who shall hold
office during the Pleasure of the humane officer, and for the
acts of which said deputy, such humane officer shall be res-
ponsible.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
