Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance providing for the 'evy of a tax for payment
of principal and interest of 775,000.00 refunding bonds of Salt Lake
City, Utah, dated Isay 1st, 1914.
WHEREAS, by ordinance heretofore passed there were authoriz-
ed to be issued Refunding Bonds of Salt Lake City, Utah, to the amount
of Seven Hundred. and Seventy-five Thousand Dollars, (;.775,000) dated
the first day of May, 19.14, due twenty (20) years after date and bear-
ing interest at the rate of four and one-half (4-1/2) per centurn per
annum; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to make ample provision for the
levy of taxes sufficient to nay said bonds; therefore
BP, IT 1Tt'.3AINED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah;
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of paying the principal
and. interest upon that certain issue of Refunding Bonds of Salt Lake
City, Utah, aggregating the sum of Seven Hundred and Seventy-five
Thousand Dollars (w775,000) , dated the first day of May, 1914, due
twenty (20) years after date and bearing interest at the rate of
four and one-half (4-1/2) per centurn per annum, there shall be and
there is hereby levied a direct annual tax upon all the taxable pro-
perty in the City of Salt Lake, Utah, sufficient to produce the sum
of Seventy-three'lhousand Six Hundred and T.renty-five (73,625) Dollars,
in each of the years from 1914 to 1.933, both inclusive, and the Board
of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby covenants a.nd agrees
to and with each and every of the holders of the said bonds that it

will in due time, manner and season take all steps necessary to meet
the requirements of this section.
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall take effect one day after
its first publication.
