An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 753 of the Re- vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordi- nance amending Section 753 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake 11: City, 1903, providing for the appointment and fixing the salaries ofr the assistants in the office of the Treasurer. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 763 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordinance amending Section 753 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt.Leke City, 1903, providing for the appointment and fixing the salaries of the assistants in the office of the Treasurer, passed by the City Council December 19, 1904, and approved by the Mayor December 22, 1904, be and the same hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows: 753. ASSISTANTS. APPOINTMENT. COLTENSATION. The treas- urer shall have power to appoint, during the term for which he is elected, subject to confirmation by the City Council, the following assistants, who shall hold office until the Monday next succeeding the expiration of the term of office of the ap- pointing power: One deputy treasurer at a salary of thirteen hundred and eighty dollars per annum; One clerk at a salary of twelve hundred dollars per annum; One collector of licenses at a salary of twelve hundred dollars per annum; One assistant collector of licenses at a salary of ten hundred and eighty dollars per annum; One collector of delinquent water rates at. a salary of ten hundred and eighty dollars per annum; One collector of dog taxes who shall receive in full com- pensation for ail services rendered one-half of all dog taxes cot.i e herd _ad }ir i over �'y '._ire to 'ireasurer. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con_flict4 h5rewith are hereby **pealed to the extent of such conflict. ' •SECTION 3.
