Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance closing and vacating certain streets in the
City Cemetery, establishing walks and burial labs therein, and
directing the City Engineer to. prepare and file plat of the City
Cemetery with the County Recorder of Salt Lake County, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah.
SECTION 1. That all the streets sunning north and south
in the City Cemetery save and except Main Street, Central Avenue,
Center Street, Cyprus Avenue, East Street, and Olive Street, be and
the same hereby are vacated and closed and the land therein declared
to be burial lots, save and except that a walk four (4) feet wide
is hereby made and established on each side of each and every one of
said streets closed and vacated hereby.
SECTION 2. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare, and,after approval by the Board of Commissioners,
to file with the County Recorder of Salt Lake County, Utah, a proper
and duly authenticated plat of said Cemetery as the same exists on
the ground as modified hereby, showing the lots, streets aad walks
therein.
SECTIOI 3. This ordinance she] take effect uonl,its first
publication.
