Lake City, Utah:-
AECTIOT I. that the Hoard of Commissioners of salt Lake
City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of
the same upon the property hereinafter described in Paving His-
trict ;.fo. 32 Leaving ixtension :'o. 186) for the purpose of grading,
constructing drainage system to carry water across and along
streets and intersections, curb and gutter, :private driveways,
installing water services and sewer connections to back of curbs
and paving with concrete, to-wit:
Lot 5 of 31k. 21, Lots 72 3 88 to 102 incl., and
Lots 103 & 1o6 to 120 incl., of Jackson square Cub., D1k. 21;
5- cre Plat "A", Dig 'yield survey, abutting on both sides of
Hampton .venue, from 2nd to 6rd Cast streets, and 2nd mast
street from a point 9.2 feet south of Hampton -_venue going
east to a point 35.2 feet north of Hampton avenue going west,

This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading,

a point 35.2 feet north of Hampton avenue going west, said pavement
to be thirty (30) feet in width and seven (7) inches thick, the
portions of said street opposite the property hereinbefore and
hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by
said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab-
lished that said property will be especially benefited thereby to 1
the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land
are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in socor(ance with
the linear foot frontage upon and to the entire depth back there-
1 from, and the tax hereby levied end to be assessed upon said par
cels of land is Nine Thousand sight Hundred Eighty-nine and 54/10d
(09,809.54) Dollars; dine Thousand Three Hundred fifty-one and
74/100 ($9,351.74) Dollars or Six and 36/100 (06.36) Dollars per
front or linear foot of abutting property for said 30 foot road-
way, there being 1470.4 feet abutting said portion of said improvel-
mont; Three Hundred 'Thirty-six and 00/100 (ti1336.00) Dollars for
private driveways, there being twelve (12) private driveways at
Twenty-eight (; 28.00) Dollars per driveway; One Hundred Seventy-
one ($171.00) Dollars for sewer laterals, or Nineteen 419.00)
Dollars for each sewer lateral, there being nine (9) sewer later- '
als; Thirty and 80/100 (( 30.80) Dollars for water services, or
fifteen and 40/100 (: 10.40) Dollars for each water service, there
being two (2) water services, the cost of installing which 'crater
services and sewer laterals and the cost of construction of which
driveways, and the property benefited thereby is hereinafter set
out, and all within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets
above. mentioned in said district, which is the total abutters'

as the same are shown upon the official plats of said city to the
entire depth back from said streets, and to collect said tax.
SECTION 2. That the assessment list made by the City
Treasurer, as corrected, approved and completed by the Board of
Equalization and Review of the property described in Section I of
this ordinance in Paving Extension No. 136, of Salt Lake dity, for
the purpose of grading, constructing drainage system to carry

water across and along streets and intersections, construct curb
and gutter and private driveways, installing water services and
sewer connections to back of curbs and paving with concrete there-
of, is hereby confirmed and the assessments made and returned in
said completed lists and the report of the Board of Bqualization
and '_review to the Board of Commissioners of Belt Lake City, are
hereby ratified, approved and confirmed..
SECTION 3. S .id. talc shall be payable in ten equal yearly
installments as provided by la* and ordinance with interest on the
whole sum unpaid at the rate .4.,six per cent per annum, payable at
the time each installment ib TO. In the event any installment
or the interest aforesaid is not paid on the day the same becomes
due, the whole amount. of the social tax unpaid at the time said
installment and interest are due shall become due and payable,
and shall draw interest at the rate of 12 per cent per annum until!
the sale of the property assessed..
i SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect one day
after its publication.
