AN ORDINANCE
Result
AN OSDINANCE VACATING the north 15 feet of 12th Avenue
from a point 165 feet west of "D" Street to the west side of "F"
Street.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the north 15 feet of 12th Avenue from a
' point 165 feet west of "D" Street to the west side of "F" Street,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the S.L.Corner of Block 177, Plat D,
Salt Lake City Survey; running thence West 994.91 ft.,
thence South 15.00 ft., thence East 994.91 ft., thence
North 15.00 ft. to place of beginning; being a part of
the N. E. 1/4 of Sec. 31, T. 1 N.,i . 1 E., S. L. B. & M.
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights of
way and easements of the Utah Light & Traction Company and the
5 7 Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Company acquired under fran-
chises from Salt Lake City to maintain, repair, alter and replace
the electric transmission, distribution of telegraph and telephone
circuits, lines, wires and poles of said companies, together with
the necessary stop cross-arms and other attachments thereon or af-
fixed thereto for the support of said electric telephone and tele-
graph lines, wires and distribution circuits as now erected and
maintained upon or across the portion of, said street to be closed,
during the life of the franchises held by said companies,or any ex-
tensions thereof.
Also subject to perpetual easement in Salt Lake City for
the construction, maintenance, r air or replacement of any fire

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the board of Comlissioners,
it is necessary to the health, peace and safety of the inhabitants
