AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Title 19 Chapter 2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto three new sections,
relating to beer licenses.

Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Title 19 Chapter., 2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto three new sections,
relating to beer licenses,: be, and the same hereby is, amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 19-2-22. Sub-lease, transfer or assignment of license
prohibited. No license may be transferred, assigned, or sub-
leased in any manner. Any violations of this section shall
be grounds for revocation of the license or refusal to renew
license.
Sec. 19-2-23. Operation to be in conformance with law.
The licensee shall be responsible for the operation of the
business in conformance with the ordinances of Salt Lake
City Corporation, and it shall be grounds for revocation
of the license if a violation of said ordinance occurs through
an act of a licensee, operator, employer, agent, or person
who is allowed to perform for patrons of the licensee's
business, whether or not said person is paid by the licensee
for said performance, or any person who violates said or-
dinances with the consent or knowledge of licensee or his
agents or employees or operator of the business.
Sec. 19-2-24. Name change. The licenseAshall not
change the name of his business establishment until he
has given written notice to the license department 10
days prior to the name change, and has paid a $10.00 name
change fee.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 10th day of June, 1975.
