An ordinance repealing a portion of an ordinance levying a tax
rand for the assessment of property abutting on both sides of all wide:
streets from East Temple Street to Ninth East Street, both streets in:-
elusive, and from Fourth South Street to Ninth South Street, both
streets inclusive, on State Street from Ninth South Street to Tenth
South Street, and on streets around Block 5, Plat "A", and on all
,narrow streets in said district, in Sidewalk Districts Nos. 9, 16,
20, 22, 30 and 40, for the oonstrudtion of cement sidewalks, passed
by the City Council October 9, 1905, and approved by the Mayor Octo-
ber 11, 1905; and also repealing an ordinance confirming the assess-
ment under said levy, passed by the City Council October 23, 1905,
and approved by the Mayor Ootober 26, 1906.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That that part of an ordinance levying a tax and for;
the assessment of property abutting on both sides of all wide streets.
from East Temple Street to Ninth East Street, both streets inclusive,'
rand from Fourth South Street to Ninth South Street, both streets in-
olasive, on State Street from Ninth South Street to Tenth South Street,
rand on streets around Block 5, Plat "A", and on all narrow streets in'
said district, in Sidewalk Districts Nos. 9, 16, 20, 22, 30 and 40,
for the construction of cement sidewalks, passed by the City Counoil
October 9, 1905, and approved by the Mayor October 11, 1905, be, and
the same is hereby repealed so far as the same applies to the property
lin the following lots, blocks and plats, fronting on the north side
of Ninth South Street between State and Main (formerly East Temple
Street), Streets, and between West Temple and First West Streets, on
the south side of Eighth South Street between West Temple aid First

SECTION 2. That an ordinance confirming the assessment upon the '
property described in Section 1 of this ordinance, passed by the City
)Council October 23, 1905, and approved by the Mayor October 23, 1905,
