Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Chapter 33 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, by adding to said Chapter a
new section to be known as Section 874x.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 33 of the Revised ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to licenses, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding to said Chapter one new section following
Section 874 of said. chapter, to be known as Section 874x, and to
read as follows:
Sec. 874x. It shall be unlawful for the keeper of any
restaurant or public dining room, by himself, manager, agent,
servant or employee, to sell, exchange, barter, give away,
serve, or otherwise furnish or permit to be sold, exchanged,
bartered, given away, served, or otherwise furnished, any
spirituous, vinous, fermented or malt liquors in any restaurant
or public dining room in Salt Lake City or in any room, booth,
or other place connected with such restaurant or public dining
room, unless permitted by the laws of the State of Utah and
the ordinances of this city, nor unless the same is for con-
sumption in such place with a bona fide meal served at the
same time.
The license of the keeper of any restaurant or public
dining room may be revoked by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City for any violation of the provisions of this
section.
SECTION 2. This ordinance all take effect1ne day
