AN ORDINANCE.
An ordinance vacating 10th North Street, formerly
known as Hamilton Street, from the west aide of
Monroe Street to the east side of 4th West Street;
also the same street from the east side of 5th West Street,
to the east side of Sparta Street, formerly known as Wash-
ington Street; also 5th West Street from a point 198 feet
south of the south line of 10th North Street, formerly known
as Hamilton Street to the north limit of said street a dis-
tance of 456,4 feet more or less; also Erie Street, formerly
known as Jefferson Street from a point 198 feet south of the
south line of 10th North Street, formerly known as Hamilton
Street, North 132 feet to the point from which said street
was previously closed by ordinance dated March 26th, 1919;
also an unnamed blind street commencing about 208.4 feet north
of 10th North Street and 125 feet east of 4th West Street and
extending east to the west side of the right of way of the Bam-
berger Electric railway on what would be the northern continua-
tion of Monroe Street. Together with the following described
alleys: A certain alley about 17.56 feet wide commencing at
4th West Street about 140.36 feet north of 9th North Street
and extending from 4th West Street to Monroe Street; also a
16 foot alley commencing 125 feet east of 4th West Street and ex-
tending from the north side of the said alley above described
to the south side of 10th North Street; also a 16 foot alley
commencing on the north side of 10th North Street about 125
feet east of 4th West Street and extending about 175.4 feet
north to the said unnamed blind street heretofore referred to;
also a 16 foot alley commencing on the north side of 9th North
Street about 157 feet west of 4th West Street and extending
north to 10th North Street; also a 16 foot alley commencing
on the north side of 10th North Street about 157 feet west
of 4th West Street and extending north about 208.4 feet to

feet wide commencing at 4th West Street about 140.36 feet
north of 9th North Street and extending from 4th West Street
to Monroe Street; also a 16 foot alley oommencing 125 feet
east of 4th West Street and extending from the north side
of the said alley above described to the south side of 10th
North Street; also a 16 foot alley commencing on the north
side of 10th North Street about 125 feet east of 4th West Street
and extending about 175.4 feet north to the said unnamed blind
street heretofore referred to; also a 16 foot alley commencing
on the north side of 9th North Street about 157 feet west of
4th West Street and extending north to 10th North Street; also
a 16 foot alley commencing on the north side of 10th North
Street about 157 feet west of 4th West Street and extending
north about 208.4 feet to the northern limit of Lake View
Subdivision; also a 16 foot alley commencing on the south
side of 10th North Street about 157 feet west of Erie Street,
formerly known as Jefferson Street, and extending south about
198 feet; also a 16 foot alley commencing on the north side
of 10th North Street about 157 feet west of Erie Street, formerly
known as Jefferson Street, and extending north about 208.4 feet
to the north limit of Lake View Subdivision; also a 16 foot alley
commencing on the south side of 10th North Street about 157 feet
west of 5th West Street, and extending south a distance of about
198 feet; also 16 foot alley commencing on the north side of 10th
North Street, formerly known as Hamilton Street, about 157 feet
west of 5th West Street and extending north a distance of about
208.4 feet to the north limit of Lake View Subdivision, all in
Salt Lake City, Utah, be and each of said streets and alleys
are, to the extent described, hereby vacated and abandoned as
public streets and alleys.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty-one
(31) days after its passage.
Passed by the Board of Comiiss oners of Salt Lake
City, Utah, October 17th, 1919.
