An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on the east side of North State Street from First Street three
blocks north to Hillside Avenue, in Sidewalk District No. 19, to
construct a sidewalk.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
- Section 1. . That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described
abutting on the east side of North State Street from First Street

e blocks north to Hillside Avenue, in Sidewalk District No.19.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
sidewalk upon said portion of said street opposite the property here-
inafter described to be hereby affected and benefited by said im-
deter
mined and established
rovement
P , and it is hereby adjudged,
that the same will be bepeela+lly benefited thereby to the full
amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby

assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear
foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to
a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby
Ilevied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is one thousand
{ seven hundred and thirty-nine and 51/100 ($k1739.51) dollars, or one
and 32/100 ($1.32) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treas-
urer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance
with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mention-
ed all of lot 5, block 2, plat "I"; 300.3 feet of lit 1, plat "E";
all of lot 3, block 1, plat "K", Salt Lake City Survey; part of
section 31,township 1 north, range 1 east, beginning at the north-
1 east corner of State Street and Canyon Road, thence north 914.5 feet
to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back XNAKKYXNA from said street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
Paced by the City Council of Salt. Lake City, Utah, May 27th, 1902,
and referred, to,the,Mayor for hi''s approval.
