Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to Organization and Salaries of the
Police Department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. :That Section 30-1-1 of the Devised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to organization and salaries of the Police
Department, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto the
following additional new classifications of civil service Tersonnel with
annual salaries as follows:
"Administrative Secretary - Grade II- 04500.00
Administrative Secretary - Grade I--- S14980.00,
provided, however, the salary of said Administrative
Secretary Grade II,after 12 months of service may be
increased to 047 40.00, and after 24 months of service
may be increased to S4980.00; and the salary of said
Administrative Secretary Grade I , after 12 months of
• in, service may be increased to : 52L0.00, and after 24
months of service may be increased to 05640.00; such
increases in each instances to he upon recommendation
of the Chief of Police and concurrence therein upon
proper resolution by the Board. of City Commissioners."
StCTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 28th day of August, 1956.
