AN ORDINANCE ADDING Section 135.5 to the Traffic Code
of Salt Lake City, Utah, relating to streets for storage
prohibited.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 135.5 relating to streets for
storage prohibited, be, and the same hereby is, ADDED to the
Traffic Code of Salt Lake City as follows:
Sec. 135.5. Streets for storage prohibited. No person
shall park a vehicle, boat, trailer or other item upon
any street for a period of time longer than 72 hours.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the City Council of Salt Lake
City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
17th day of June , 1980.
