AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 91 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to the Board of Health.
Be it ordained by the Board of Coegnissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 91 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to the Board of Health, be
and the same is hereby amended to read es follow:
SEC. 91. APPOINTMENT. OFFICERS..MEMBERS. •-'The board
of health shall consist of the health commissioner and first
assistant health commissioner, each of whom shall be a gradu-
ate of a reputable medical college, four citizens of Salt Lake
City, Utah, and the commissioner of public safety. The commis-
sioner of public safety shall be ex-officio chairman of the
board of health, which is included in the department of public
safety under the general direction of the commissioner of pub-
6 lic safety. The board of commissioners of. Salt Lake City, Utah,
19 shall appoint the members of said board, and all officers,
assistants and employees thereof, and fill all vacancies therein.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect at once upon
its first publication.

Be it ordained by the Board of being first duly sworn,deposes and says,that he is the Principal Clerk
