Key i� Bpi Lee Mr. Chairman - - AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 628, of Chapter XXVIII, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to licenses, and amending said chapter by adding in and to said chapter a new section to be known as Section 628X. Be it ordained by the Board of. Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Section 628, of Chapter XXVIII, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to licenses, is hereby amended to read as follows: .. SEC. 628. BILLIARD AND POOL TABLES. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in, conduct or carry on the business of keeping, or maintaining for public use or hire, any billiard table and pool table on which games are played, without first obtaining a license so to do; provided, t9 that no license shall issue to keep, maintain or operate for public use or hire any of the games hereinbefore men- 0 tioned, without the boundaries of the district following: The north side of North 'temple Street, the south side of Fifth South Street, the east side of Second East Street, and the west side of Sixth West Street. All applications for license contemplated by this section shall state the number and kind of tables, and the place of keeping the same. Upon the filing of such applica- tion, and upon payment into the city treasury of fifteen ($15.00) Dollars per annum in advance for each billiard, or pool table specified in said application, yearly licenses may be issued thereon. SECTION 2. That Chapter XXVIII, Revised Ordinances of 6 -2- I 1 Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, be and the same is hereby amended by 1 adding in and to said chapter a new section to be known as Section 1 j 628X, which shall read as follows; SEC. 628X. BOWLING ALLEYS. It shall be unlawful for any parson to engage in, conduct or carry on the business of keeping or maintaining for public use or hire any bowling jk alley, without first obtaining a license so to do. The li- i tense fee payable under this section shall be seventy-five 0 .($75r00) Dollars per ennui* for such bowling alhay establish- ' i; ment.
