AN ORDINANCE .
An ordinance repealing and re-enacting with amendments an ordi-
nance entitled "An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of
property in the district bounded as follows: Beginning at the north
west corner of Third South and Second West Streets, thence south to
the center of Eighth South Street, thence east to the center of East
Temple Street, thence south to Ninth South Street, thence east to
the east side of East Temple Street, thence north to the center of
Eighth South Street, thence east to the east side of State Street,
thence north to the center of Fourth South Street, thence east to
the west side of Second East Street, thence north to the north side
of Third South Street, thence west to the place of beginning, in
Sidewalk Districts Nos. 5, 6, 8, 9, 11„ 14, 15 and 20, for the con-
struction of cement sidewalks", passed by the City Council July 3,
1905, and approved by the Mayor July 5, 1905.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance levying a
tax and for the assessment of property in the district bounded as
follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Third South and Sec-
ond West Streets, thence south to the center of Eighth South Street,
thence east to the center of East Temple Street, thence south to
Ninth South Street, thence east to the east side of East Temple
Street, thence north to the center of Eighth South Street, thenoe
east to the east side of State Street, thence north to the center of
Fourth South Street, thence east to the Ei19tSX west side of Second
East Street, thence north to the north side of Third South Street,
thence west to the place of beginning, in Sidewalk Districts Nos. 5,
6, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15 and 20, for the construction of cement side-
walks", passed by the City Council July 3, 1905, and approved by the
Mayor July 5, 1905, be, and the same hereby is repealed and re-
enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:

One-fifth thereof shall become delinquent one month after the appro-
val of this levy; one-fifth thereof in two years after said appro-
val; one-fifth thereof in three years after said approval; one-fifth
thereof in four years aftgp said approval; and one-fifth thereof in
fri five years after said appi74val.; Each and every,:installment of said
tax, except the first, fth T11, ;draw interest at ti}e rate of six per
cent per annum from date o bevy until delinquit't, and•all said in-
..,staliments shall bear irit*tsst at the rate of eight p®r Cent per
` ill •_annum from and after data of delinquency.
