AN ORDINANCE AMiEiNDING Section 20-2-61 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to license plate fees to be paid
by the producer selling his produce.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 20-2-61 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to license plate fees to be paid by '
the producer selling his produce, be, and the same hereby is, amended to
read as follows:
"It shall be unlawful for any person to use, operate or
run upon the streets of Salt Lake City, any automobile,
truck, wagon or vehicle of any kind, carrying garden or
farm produce, fruits, butter, eggs, or other commodities
raised or produced by himself, unless such person shall
Q first register his name, residence, occupation and number
of vehicles used or to be used by him, by a sworn state-
ment in the office of the license assessor of Salt Lake
City, and secure therefrom a plate for each vehicle to be
used for such purpose, such plate to show the business
engaged in and the year for which the same is issued, and
to be furnished by the license assessor upon paying a fee
of one (4)l.00) dollar for each plate."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
