AN ORDINANCE Extending the time during which the Utility Revenue Tax imposed by Section 20-3-14 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as enacted and amended by Bill No. 38 of 1967 and Bill No. 39 of 1968, shall remain in full force and effect. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Utility Revenue Tax imposed by Section 20-3-14 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as enacted and amended by Bill No. 38 of 1967 and Bill No. 39 of 1968, be, and the same hereby is, deemed necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, Utah, and, therefore, said ordinance is continued in full force and effect until July 1, 1970. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
