AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-12-2 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah 1965, relating to rezoning and
fixing boundaries of use districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City has
determined that the rezoning of certain properties currently
zoned R-6 at approximately 1900 West North Temple will encourage
compatible commercial activity therein and shall be in the best
interests of the community, said Board hereby adopts the
following amendments to the use district provisions of Title 51.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah.
SECTION 1. The use and "Use District Map" as adopted by
Section 51-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,
Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to the fixing of boundaries of
use districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended as fz

That the following described parcel of real
property in a residential R-6 district situated
near 1900 West North Temple Street in Salt Lake
City, Utah, more particularly described below, is
hereby zoned commercial C-1 and the Use District
Map is amended and changed accordingly.
Commencing at a point 33 feet west and 27 feet
south of the northwest corner of Block 2, Charles
Desky Fifth Addition, said point being on the west
line of Winfred Street and 700 feet north of the
north line of North Temple Street; thence north
27.0 feet; thence east 131.83 feet; thence N.
0°04'28" E. 831.72 feet to the south line of Morton
Meadows Plat "C" Subdivision; thence N. 89°51'50"
W. 1390 feet, more or less, to the east no access
line of Interstate 215, thence south along said no
access line 858 feet, more or less, to the north
line of the existing Commercial "C-1"District;
thence east along the existing Commercial "C-1"

boundary 1270 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after the date of its first publication.
