Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

CTION 886. Licneses for pealing or hawking in the manner and
under the restrictions described in Seotion 385 of Chapter XXVII of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, say be issued on the payment of
the following suns per ants
For a license to peddle or hawk vegetables, garden produce,
fruit, better. eggs, poultry, fish and gate, for each wagon b - 4 8'p,o-e
or stand, each wagon or stand to have a separate license,- tmeivae
Per a license to peddle or bawl: merchandise and other

"Provided that nothing herein shall be deemed to apply to evm or
persons offering for sale butter, eggs, fruit or vcgetruler rnired or
produced by themselves.
Only one person may peddle with each wagon, but each wagon may be
accompanied by one driver or one attendant in addition to the peddler, but such
driver or attendant shall not peddle.

Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 366 of Chapter XXVfl of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, be and the same hereby is amended and1re•enacted so as
to read as fellows:

No license shall be ia:sued for a less term than three months.

A.M. and ten A.M., except Sundays and legs lidays, and such
district is hereby established as a market for such products.
Each license shall be nnsibdzed, and said license, together with the
number thereof shall be' attsch�rd�i.n a prominent place on said wagon, in case
a wsdoe is sited. and in.all cafes the person peddling under said license
shall wear on his hat-"in s poacpiouous place. while peddling, a metal tag
exhibiting the same number Whip license. The City Recorder shall furnish
suoh tads with the licenses iiseed by him.
Any license issued hereunder may be revoked by the City Council for
any dishonest or enfair act or practice on the part of the person operating
under the same, or for any disobedience or evasion of the provisions hereof.
SUCTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed/. to the eatsnt of eeish cenfliot. .
SECTION S. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, May 9th, 1904, and
referrndto the ""u.yor for his approval.
