AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2, Chapter 2, of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Use of Airport Facilities,
by adding thereto a new section to be known as Section 2-2-20; relating to
landing fees,
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Title 2, Chapter 2, of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to use of airport facilities,
be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new section
to be known as Section 2-2-20, to read as follows:
Landing Fee.
"Sec. 2-2-20/ "There is hereby imposed a landing fee of $50.00 for each
landing at the airport upon all unscheduled transport type
aircraft for the use of the facilities of the airport. The
landing fee thus imposed shall be waived upon the purchase at
the airport following said landing of a minimum quantity of
1250 gallons of fuel for said aircraft. For the purpose of
this section, transport type aircraft shall be aircraft of
the following designations or undesignated aircraft in a
comparable weight class as those designated: DC-6; DC-7;
DC-8; DC-9; 707, 720, 727, 737."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 25th day of June, 1969.
