A N ORDINANCE .
An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on both sides of Bueno Street from Eleventh East Street to Twelfth
Bast Street, in Sidewalk District No. 23, for the construction of a
cement sidewalk.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter
described in Lots Nos. 1 to 20, inclusive, and Lot 27,Blook 1,
Bhrich's Subdivision, Lots 1 to 13, inclusive, Block 2, Ehrich's
Subdivision, and Lot 4, Block 30, Plat "F", Salt Lake City Survey,
abutting on both sides of Bueno Street from Eleventh East Street to

Twelfth East Street, in Sidewalk District No. 23, said property
having a frontage of 1320 feet along said street.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
cement sidewalk four feet wide and four inches thick upon said por-
tion of said street opposite the property hereinafter described to
be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is
hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be
especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby
levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and
uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said
portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five
(25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be as- '
sassed upon said parcels of land is nine hundred ten and 80/100
(4910.80) dollars, or 69/100 ($0.69) dollars per front or linear
foot, which is the estimated total cost and estimated cost per lin-
ear foot of said sidewalk, and the Treasurer is hereby authoriled
and Impawars1 directed to assess in accordance with the provisions
of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, Lots 1 to 20,
inclusive and Lot 27 of Block 1, Ehrich's Subdivision; Lots 1 to
13, inclusive, Block 2, Ehrich's Subdivision, and Lot 4, Block 30,
Plat "F", Salt Lake City Sury as the same are shown upon the of.�'

finial plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back
from said street, and to collect said tax.
SECTION 2. Said tax shall become and be delinquent in six
equal installments as follows, to-wit: One-sixth thereof shall be-
come and be delinquent 401 month after the approval of this ordi-
),, nanee; one-sixth thereof ii.one year after such approval; one-sixth
thereof
thereof in two years after such approval; one-sixth,,in three years
after such approval; en*-eth thereof in four years after such ap-
proval; and one-sixth thereof in five years afte3X such approval.
Hach and every installment { f said tax except the first, shall draw
interest at the rate of six per cent per annum from date of levy
until delinquent, and each and every installment of said tax shall
bear interest at the rate of night per cent per annum from and after
its date of delinquency.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
